You’ll have to bear with me while I try to get into a groove and figure out the best way to write about this magazine. I don’t really want to comment on every article (though I will point out that Issue 1 has an article about how to use the Internet, and almost 8 years later, it seems so quaint to read it) because I don’t want to fall down this path of showing you how everything is so helpful.
I also don’t want to get snarky about it–I’m not out to prove this magazine won’t help me, that I could figure life out all on my own. Some of the articles are helpful for me, some aren’t. And some I just plain don’t care about. So I think I’ll just focus on what really pokes at me and says, “Hey, try this!” Like Oprah says, you can’t be a people pleaser, so I’m going to have to wade through this and see what sort of postings work for me. I appreciate you reading through this first part–hopefully I’ll find a good flow soon.
UPDATED TO ADD: Oh, and I will look at Dr. Phil, Suze Orman, and The O List every time because I do look at those as soon as the magazine comes in the mail.
